Saving...
Sunday May 18th 1879 I went to church his morning. When I came home I helped get the dinner over. Mr & Mrs Maxwell called this afternoon. I was in there Friday afternoon I find they are from Illinois. We spent a pleasant afternoon together. Rob had company for supper. Win was here too. John was over in the evening. I wrote a long letter to Ira in the evening. Monday May 19th 1879 I got up early to do the washing. I got it done by eleven. We girls washed the walls and ceilings of the parlor bed room after dinner. We went with Rob to the depot to get Kate Boyer who came tonight. I helped with the supper and went to bed early. Tuesday May 20th 1879 I did the ironing and helped with the dinner in the forenoon. After dinner I fixed my old wrapper and did some other sewing. Mrs Pryce, Lillie [Brandon?] and Miss Gibson called. John was over in the evening.
