Saving...
Friday June 20th 1879 I cleaned the house all up good this morning. As soon as I ate my dinner I walked over to town and brought home a basket of stuff. The girls came and we had a pleasant visit with them. I began to work a mat on burlap to send to Charlie. I wrote a little to Hatt tonight. Saturday June 21st 1879 I worked all the forenoon on my mat and as soon as dinner was over I walked over town to call on Miss Musselman who is here from Fairfield. I did a little [illegible] for myself and worked on my mat again after I came home. Mr Dichey went home today. Sunday June 22nd 1879 I did not feel very well but went to church this morning. Elder Miller gave us a most excellent sermon. I helped get the dinner over and slept most of the afternoon. After supper we walked over to see McGoverns new house. Weather very warm.
