Saving...
Saturday July 5th 1879 I began early this morning to make one of our new rag carpets. Mother went to town and I had the dinner ready when she got home. She worked at the cherries in the afternoon and I on the carpet. Aunty Walker and Mr + Mrs Purcell came just at supper time and Lucy Heine called after supper. It was nine oclock when we got the work all done and was nearly tired to death. I had a letter from [Corney?]. Sunday July 6th 1879 I was just sick today. And was in bed part of the day. I felt better towards evening and wrote a letter to Mrs Anderson. Monday July 7th 1879 I did some sewing today I fixed the sleeves to my silk dress and a couple of dresses for May. I went to town later in the afternoon and stayed to Wins till after supper and she walked home with me. I did not work any in the evening but went to bed early.
