Saving...
Tuesday July 8th 1879 I cleaned the house all jup good in the morning and did some baking and in the afternoon I put up twelve quarts of raspberries and thirteen of cherries, and then went to town after supper. I went to bed early. Wednesday July 9th 1879 It rained very hard last night and I did not begin the washing till about nine oclock and did not get it done till after dinner. Lee came home at noon and Rob and Hatt in the afternoon. I rode out to Heartsocks to see if we could get some berries. It was a very warm evening Two ears ago today Pete went away. Thursday July 10th 1879 I helped with the work and sewed a little in the afternoon. It was very warm indeed. After supper we girls went over town.I stopped at Maxwells a few minutes. We called at Hughes to see Clara but she had gone home. Were at Wins a little while and she came part way home with us. John came home with us.
