Saving...
Thursday July 17th 1879 We finished papering our room by noon. I was sick with the head-ache in the afternoon. Mother and Rob went to town in the [phaeton?] I laid down most of the time they were gone. After they came home I helped some about putting down the carpet in our room. We had it ready to sleep in there tonight. I went to bed early. Friday July 18 1879 We began on Lees room. This morning we got the paper nearly on by eleven oclock. Rob and I went over town then and got a new carpet for the room and paper for the bath. We made the carpet and got Lees room all cleaned up. He came from the valley this afternoon. We began the hall. Saturday July 19th 1879 We finished papering both halls by two oclock and then took the rest of the afternoon to finish righting things up stairs and cleaning up the lower story a little. The boys worked very late in the hay field. We girls sewed in the evening.
