Saving...
Tuesday July 30th 1879 Mother and Rob went to town this morning while we girls did up the work. When they came back Rob took Alice down to Uncle Jims with him. Ella Rhodes was here for dinner. Win was over awhile in the afternoon and came over again after supper to go with us out to see Ada Rennonds three babies that were born last Thursday. Mrs Robinson spent the afternoon here and Aunty and Uncle Walker were here for supper. We had a pleasant ride. When we stopped at Lothrops on an errand found Ray Billingley there and brought him home with us. We took Win home and brought John over. Wednesday July 31st 1879 We got our work done up early and Mary Shafer and her sister Belle came over to spend the day. The methodist sunday school had their picnic in the grove and a good many of the ladies were in here. Rob and Ott started for a three days trip in the buggy and [Joe?] went to Riverside. We had a [small?] [family?].
