Saving...
Sunday August 31st 1879 It was very warm but I walked over to church. I read a little after dinner and then wrote a card to Mr [Witter?], Lou VanCamp, Kate Boye, Maggie McKee, Jen [Mich?], Clara Musselman. And a letter to Cousin Jennie. Rob and Mother went to the valley. Win was over till after supper and John was over in the evening. Monday September 1st 1879 We were busy all the forenoon doing house work and Bird and Otto got home at noon. We fixed Lee and Ed of to the fair this morning. Ai Fletcher and wife were here to spend the afternoon and take tea. Ella Rhodes and Winnie were here to call after supper and Bird and I went away across the bridge with them when they started home. Tuesday September 2nd 1879 The girls went over to Wins early this evening. I did the washing and some other work. I went over early and called at Moons to see Mrs Morrison. I spent the afternoon at Wins and Rob came over there to supper. I invited company for Thursday. I had a good letter from Gene.
