Saving...
Saturday September 14th 1879 The folks all went to the valley and I went to church. We had a quiet afternoon and I wrote to Cousin Gene. The folks did not get home till we had supper. I read in the evening. Monday September 15th 1879 I walked over town early this morning and when I came home helped get the dinner ready. As soon as the dinner was over we went to the train with the Burlington friends. I stopped and got mother a new calico dress as I came home. I helped do up the evening work and went to bed early. A new boarder. Tuesday September 16th 1879 I cut out mothers dress this morning and sewed it all day. Lee and Mr Lollant went to Riverside for flour. We have two new boardsr a couple of brothers by the name of Hoelmich from Columbia Junction. I worked on my pillow case all the evening. John was over this evening.
