Saving...
Sunday September 21st 1879 I helped do up the work and got ready for church. Mr Ingalls preached this morning. As soon as we got dinner over we girls went down to Robinsons and stayed till nearly supper time. I did nothing but read a little in the evening. Monday September 22nd 1879 I washed this forenoon and in the afternoon mother Rob, and I went over town and was gone all the afternoon, got a lot of dishes at Starkeys. Just as we got through supper Ella McCallister and [Hearntie?] Stone came to stay all night. I cut some carpet rags in the evening. Weather pleasant. Tuesday September 23rd 1879 I did the ironing this morning. The girls went over town and did not get home till dinner was ready. It rained nearly all the afternoon. Lee took the girls home just before night. Rob and I went to hear Dr. Thomas lecture tonight it was splendid.
