Saving...
Wednesday September 24th 1879 Rob and mother waited till nearly train time for Lee to come with grandmother and then started to walk to the depot. They had only just got out of sight when Lee came up the other way, he turned around and went to over take them. As soon as we got the dinner work done up Lee took us over town and we got grapes and ever so many things. It was five oclock wen I got home. We got supper over and I worked all the evening peeling apples to make jelly tomorrow. Thursday September 25th 1879 I made jelly and apple butter, spiced grapes, baked bread, churned, and got the meals today. Mrs Middleton was over and she helped me some. I worked a pillow case for her in the afternoon. It was late when we got the evening work done. I read a little in the evening. John was over in the evening. I was very tired tonight.
