Saving...
Monday September 29th 1879 With Hatts help I put out a large washing by noon. And Rob took mother and I to town in the buggy we got a lot of new dishes and some groceries. After we got home I brought in the clothes and rolled them up. I sewed a little in the evening. Tuesday September 30th 1879 We girls cleaned the garret this morning and I ironed in the afternoon. it took me till just supper time. I was so tired I did not do any thing in the evening. Hatt finished my sacque. Wednesday October 1st 1879 We finished spicing the apples this morning. Mrs Middleton came over and staid all day. I worked her other pillow case. I was sewing all the time I could get. I made three pair of ruffled pillow cases. Thursday October 2nd 1879 It rained today I washed and put the clothes in the garret. In the afternoon I drew of a pair of pillow cases.
