Saving...
Friday October 3rd 1879 I ironed this morning and in the afternoon Rob took mother and I to town to get some things. We brought Mays new bed home and I fixed it up while mother and Hatt got supper. I put in all the evening fixing up my things to go away tomorrow. Saturday October 4th 1879 I helped with the work this morning and baked cake. As soon as we were through dinner I washed and dressed and at two oclock Lee took Rob and I to the depot. We had a pleasant ride and got there on time. Charlie, Kelse, and Bird were all down to the train. We had supper, visited awhile and went to bed. Sunday October 5th 1879 I read during the forenoon and soon after dinner we all went up to Charlies room and sat out on the porch a long time. We then called at Mr Rhoda's and Rob and I went over to see Miss Lewis a little while. In the evening we all went to the Division St church saw the [Fonney girls?].
