Saving...
Monday November 10th 1879 I washed this morning and while the folks were at dinner I went over town and got the jam for my [hood?] and Hatt began to work on it this afternoon. I helped do up the dinner work and baked cake and ironed. In the evening I wrote a letter to Cousin Jennie. I had a letter form Miss Lewis today and one from Charlie he tell of Lonas death and says Ira is not expected to live. Tuesday November 11th 1879 I ironed some this forenoon and helped get the dinner over. In the afternoon I cut out some dresses for May. Wednesday November 12th 1879 I ironed some more this morning and helped get the dinner. Hatt finished up my hood. Mother went over town and was gone most of the afternoon. Lillie Brandon was here a little while this afternoon and says Jim [Tempton?] and Florence [Pilsby?] were married last Friday. Weather pleasant.
