Saving...
Monday December 8th 1879 I did a very large washing this morning and soon after dinner we girls went over to town. We got a new black cashmere dress for mother and took it to Mrs Wardon to make. We did more shopping and did not get home till nearly suppertime. I knit in the evening was up to Robs office Tuesday December 9th 1879 It took me most of any spare time to iron today. I am knitting on a pair of mittens for Father that I put in spare time on. A rainy disagreeable day. Wednesday December 10th 1879 It was colder this morning and the milk was froze up. Father went up to [Aunty?] sale I helped do the work finished Fathers mittens and mended the clothes and put them away. Mother went over to have the measure taken for her dress. Win came home with her and we girls all went to the Symfonian reunion, the exercises were good. John came home with. Father did not get home.
