Saturday December 20th 1879 It was late when we got up this morning. I was busy about the house and nearly all day. Win and the Robinson girls were here to take supper and spend the evening. We had quite a nice little arrangement. The boys took the girls out to supper and they spent the evening down stairs which all appeared to enjoy. Weather a little pleasanter. Sunday December 21st 1879 I helped a little about the work this morning and the girls and I went to the Congregational church. It was snowy and disagreable in the afternoon but a little better in the evening as we all went to hear John Irish lecture. I wrote a few lines to Corrie Jones in the afternoon. Monday December 22nd 1879 I washed a little the morning and as soon as we had dinner Lee took Mother over to Mrs Orcotts funeral. He came right back after Sallie and I who went up to the
