Saving...
office and Rob went with us to Hammonds for a call. I was at Millers and we waited at Wins till Lee came after us. As soon as I got home I began to get ready for the supper. In the evening we all went to the concert. Colder today than yesterday. I received a note from Mr Berlin. We received our present from Bird a set of lace [illegible] apiece. Sunday December 23rd 1879 I helped do up the work and got the dinner and soon after eating we all started to the depot. Mr Helmick and brother and Mr Lallont and sisters went on the afternoon train. As soon as they were of Matt and I came up town. I got me a new pair black gloves and Hatt got a doll for May. We went up to Wins for a little while before coming home. I got the supper alone. Mr Russell and Mr. [Quisley?] went home tonight Ott and Matt went to the ball tonight. I did not do much of anything. The house seems quiet enough tonight. I got a new dress for May this afternoon.
