Saving...
Saturday December 27th 1879 We went out and got things early the morning to do our baking. We baked twelve cakes and in the afternoon worked a little more with the evergreens. Hatt and John went to town in the evening. Rob was invited out to supper. I had a letter from Corrie Jones today. Sunday December 28th 1879 Rob and Mother went to the valley today and Father went up to Auntys. I was busy about the work all the forenoon and did not go to church. I read some in the afternoon. John Hamilton and a friend were here for supper time was over. Ott went to church with me in the evening.
