Saving...
134 Monday October 4 1886 I wrote a letter to Ida after cleaning up the house in the morning before the Robinson girls and Hatt came to spend the day. Aunty Walker went home this evening and Lizzie Lindley stayed all night with her two children. Will and the boys was fixing fence in the valley all day. Tuesday October 5 1886 Lizzie went home this morning and later Hatt came over and we walked down there to spend the day. I got home at five oclock and found Will here he had been to the valley to take cattle down. The evening was spent at home. Wednesday October 6 1886 We washed this morning and then Mother went to town. I got dinner for Lee and I and after that for Will and the boy when they came with hay from the west farm. I ironed a little and at five oclock rode down to Robinsons to tell Lizzie that I might go to Des Moines with her. We drove on over town and had Mollie and the colt hitched together for the first time. Ott got home after two day away. Thursday October 7 1886 I finished the ironing this morning while Mother was gone to town. She came right back and helped me take the carpet up in my room before dinner. I put it down before three oclock and then walked down to Eugene Harts to make a visit. Will came down to supper and we spent the evening I had a letter from Charlie wanting us to come down yet this week. I wrote to him we would be there Saturday eve and a note to Lizzie Lindley saying I had changed my mind. Friday October 8 1886 I ironed some more things and did a little baking while Mother was gone to town. Uncle Jim & Aunt Ellen were here for dinner. I went to town late in the afternoon and in the evening Will and I went down to Aunt Ems party. Fine night Saturday October 9 1886 I was busy about the house all the forenoon. Soon after dinner Will and I rode to town. Oscar brought the horse back. On ride to Burlington was pleasant. Charlie met us at the depot. We had supper and a short talk before going to bed. I was very tired.
