139 Friday November 5th 1886. I sewed all the forenoon and finished the night clothes I washed them out the first thing after dinner. Will was hauling wood from the valley and did not get here till late for dinner. It was a very windy day. I sewed in the evening on some shirts I was fixing for Will. Mother to town in the afternoon. Saturday November 6th 1886. I went to town in the forenoon to do some erranss. I ironed a little after dinner and got Wills dinner when he came with the wood. I was doing mending in the afternoon. Mother was over to Folsoms awhile. In the evening we all went over to Hatt's to an oyster supper that Ott gave as a treat that he was elected. Weather clear and cold. Sunday November 7th 1886. We were very late getting up this morning and it took all the forenoon to do chores and get dinner. The Whetstones were over in the afternoon, and Mrs Carney and Belle Murry Will and I took a short ride taking flowers to Robs grave. Weather cold enough for winter. The evening was spent at home. Monday November 8th 1886. It was a splendid day. I had the washing done and the house all cleaned up by eleven oclock with Mothers help. Just then Grand-ma came. I worked the button holes in Mothers wrapper, and ironed some after dinner. Will brought a load of wood from the valley. Hatt was over to stay till after supper and Will walked home with her. Ed McCallister here all night. Tuesday November 9th 1886 It was rainy and gloomy day. I ironed and was busy about the house all the forenoon. Will hitched Mollies colt up single and drove her to town. I had cake to bake after dinner and did not get to sewing till three oclock. Wednesday November 10th 1886. Lee took Grand-ma to town and Mother walked over. I was busy about the work all the forenoon. Will went to the valley and brought the cattle home. Mollie & Libbie Stevens were here for dinner and we had a good visit. Mrs Hill and Adda Dickey called in the afternoon. I worked at some aprons in the evening.
