Saving...
141 Wednesday November 17th 1886. I worked all day on Mothers dress. She went to town in the afternoon. Will was helping with the side walk and they got it nearly done. I did a little sewing in the evening. Thursday November 18th 1886. It was a howling winter day Will was busy most of the day taking care of the stock. I worked all day on Mothers dress. I fixed a pair of drawers for Will in the evening. Friday November 19th 1886 It was more pleasant this morning and I rode over to town with Will, he brought me back home and went on up in the country to a sale. I ironed some in the afternoon and fixed Lee's over-coat, while Mother and May were gone to town. I did not feel well enough to work in the evening. Saturday November 20th 1886. It was another pleasant day. I finished Mothers dress before dinner. Will with Oscars help hauled two loads of straw from the west farm. In the afternoon Mother and I made seven calls on the road next south of us and got home before five oclock. I worked a little after supper. Will was over town awhile in the evening. It was two years today that Charlie & Ida were married. Sunday November 21st 1886. Will and I started about ten oclock for Walkers. We had a pleasant visit and a nice ride both ways. John & Callie were there with their new boy baby that has been named "Robert Walker". It was just night when we got home. Ott had done most of the chores. After supper Will and I sat up in our room and read. I read aloud some. The Whetstones were over in the afternoon. Monday November 22nd 1886 It was a rainy morning but we washed and put the clothes in the garret. It was cloudy and sultry in the afternoon. I swept the front part of the house all over and Mother took out all the plants and cleaned the bay window. I had a fire in the parlor. Will was working about the place, and helped Linderman load a couple of calves for market.
