Saving...
Monday February 7th 1887 It rained last night and this morning things were fearful slick. I was busy most of the forenoon getting Lee's things ready. He packed up as soon as he ate dinner and Will took him to the depot I worked on my edging and read some. Tuesday February 8th 1887 Will helped me wash in the forenoon and in the afternoon and evening I worked on the lace for my towels. Wednesday February 9th 1887 Weather more pleasant today. Ott went in the country. The boys cut down a big tree in the lot. I wrote to Mother in the afternoon and worked on my lace in the evening. Thursday February 10th 1887 I was all forenoon doing some baking. The boys were working at the wood all the forenoon, but it rained so hard they could not work. Ott came home in the rain. He had company for supper and went to town and staid all night. We had a letter from Mother. I was working on my lace. Friday February 11th 1887 I was busy about the house all the forenoon. Ott came home to dinner. Weather colder with snow. I ironed some today and Will peeled apples for me to can five jars. There is a social at Aunt Ems tonight. A letter from Lee. Saturday February 12th 1887 I was busy about the house all the forenoon and in the afternoon and evening I worked on my lace. Ott went down to Burlington to stay over Sunday. Sunday February 13th 1887 It was a pleasant winter day. Will, May and & I spent the day at Hattie. I read a little in the evening.
