154 Tuesday February 15th 1887 I was busy about the house all the forenoon and in the afternoon Will and I was over town in the cutter I worked on my lace some in the and read aloud to Will. We had letters from both Mother and Lee. Ott went tonight Wednesday February 16th 1887 It was a pleasant day. I was busy all the forenoon getting dinner as I had a turkey roasted. Will went after Hatt and Aunty Walker. John was over for his dinner. Thursday February 17th 1887 It rained very hard all day. I worked on my lace what time I had besides doing the work. Aunty did not go home Ott got back the middle of the afternoon. Friday February 18th 1887 I was busy about my work all the forenoon. I wrote to Mother and finished the lace for a towel. Will took Aunty home. Saturday February 19th 1887 I had the head-ache all day and did not do any more work than I was obliged to. I went to bed early. Sunday February 20th 1887 It was rather a pleasant day. John & Hatt with the children and Will and I went town to Aunt Libs to dinner we had a splendid visit and enjoyed the day very much. Will and I talked all the evening I had a letter from Mother. Monday February 21st 1887 Will and I went to town in the morning. I was at Hatts awhile to see about the party out to Dentons tonight. I got dinner as soon as I got home. I was doing some work about the kitchen and wrote a letter to Mother. May went over to Hatties to stay all night and we went out to the phantom party. We had a very pleasant time. It snowed some today and at night again. Tuesday February 22nd 1887 We did not get up very early this morning. I baked mince pies nearly all the forenoon. When May came home she brought Edith with her and Anna came after her in the afternoon. I had letters from Lee, Vene and the Works family in Kansas I sewed a little in the afternoon. We went to bed early. I wrote to Lee this afternoon.
