Saving...
155 Wednesday February 23rd 1887 We washed this forenoon and May and I gave the plants a good wetting I was busy about the house a good part of the afternoon. I worked on my lace in the evening. Thursday February 24th 1887 I was busy about the work nearly all the forenoon. Hatt came over before I got the dinner dishes washed. In a little while Anna Denton and Lib Stevens came and stayed till nearly five oclock. Will went to town after supper and John came back with him. A letter from Mother today. Friday February 25th 1887 Will took me over to town this morning and he went out to the Stevens sale. I was at Hatts till after dinner and then we went over to Mrs. Smiths to call on Mrs McNott and from there up town. Will came for me before five oclock. Ott took his dinner to the office with him. I talked with Will in the evening. Saturday February 26th 1887 It was a horribly cold windy day. I warmed up the parlor and got things ready for a surprise party for Ott tonight he was not at home for dinner. Will went to town in the afternoon and Hatt came back with him. As bad as the weather was the party came and gave Ott a complete surprise. We all enjoyed it very much. Will hauled a load of oats from Daltons. Sunday February 27th 1877 It was late when we got up this morning I was busy about the work part of the day. I read and wrote a little. Will was in town a little while in the afternoon. Weather more pleasant than yesterday. Monday February 28th 1887 I was busy about the work all the forenoon and in the afternoon worked on my lace. Will hauled a load of oats from Daltons and two loads of corn from the depot. We went to Dental Commencement in the evening. Weather quite pleasant. Tuesday March 1st 1887 I was busy about the work all the morning. Soon after dinner Will and I went to the valley for butter. It was supper time when we got home. May had Robbie over all forenoon. I worked on lace in the evening. It was a warm bright day and thawed very rapidly.
