158 Thursday March 17th 1887 The boys went to the timber to make posts and Mother and I did a large washing. She went to town in the afternoon. I worked on lace in the afternoon. We had a fire up in the room in the evening. Friday March 18th 1887 We got the work done very early and Mother and Father with Will and I went down to Grand-mas for the day we had a very pleasant ride and a splendid visit I knit on a skirt for myself all the evening Saturday March 19th 1887 I ironed all the forenoon and got all done. I cleaned up the kitchen after dinner and rode to town with Will he drove John & Mollie, and sold John for $125.00 Mother and Father were over all the afternoon and did not come home till after supper. I mended the clothes and put them away and knit some in the evening. Sunday March 20th 1887 It was rather a pleasant day. The folks were over all day.
