160 Thursday March 31st 1887 Mother did the work all day and I finished Wills shirts and made an apron for myself and washed them out. Mother and Father went over to Hatties about five oclock to stay all night. I got supper over and Will and I spent most of the evening talking over our affairs and figureing up accounts. Friday April 1st 1887 Mother came home and did the ironing this morning and as it had grown pleasanter I gave the house a good cleaning up in the forenoon. Soon after dinner Will and I went to town in the phaeton he brought me back to the bridge. We have made all arrangements for Will and I to have the use of the place for this year, and we have got all the stock from her so she will have us further care of it. Lee got home today from his California trip and is looking very well indeed. Will brought Grand-ma over here at five oclock and Hatt and Mollie walked over. They brought with them a beautiful panel that Mifs White had painted for me as a gift on accont of my marriage. Lee had lots to tell about his trip while we were at supper. The boys all went to town but Ott he stayed here and the folks played whist. John came after Hatt about nine oclock. Saturday April 2nd 1887 I was busy about the work all the forenoon and Mollie went to town soon as she had her dinner. I went over later and went down to Hatts. Will came down and we walked home together. I knit some in the evening. Weather pleasant. Sunday April 3rd 1887 It was a pleasant morning and the Whetstones were over early. I helped with the work and walked with Lee in the forenoon. Soon after dinner Will and I took some flowers to Robs grave as it is his birthday. Lee went to the valley. When Hatt went home Will and I went along to stay till after supper and go to church. The wind began to blow very hard and it grew very much colder. There was a fire in the lower part of town just as we came out of church I stopped at Hatts while Will went down awhile.
