Saving...
170 Thursday June 9th 1887 I walked over town before noon. I was at Hatts a few moments I sewed a little in the afternoon and showed Charlie things I wanted done about the yard. We sat on the porch till bed-time. We had letters from Ott & Father. Friday June 10th 1887 I went to town early this morning and took the lawn mower over to have it fixed. I then came back and took Grand-ma for a ride and left her at Hatties. I worked on Mothers dress what spare time I had. She was in town till after supper. Saturday June 11th 1887 I was busy doing baking all the forenoon. Soon after dinner Will and I started for Lisbon. The drive was very pleasant though quite warm when we first started out. It was seven oclock when we got there. After supper we visited till late bed-time. Sunday June 12th 1887 Kate and I went to church in the morning and in the afternoon the boys got a two-seated buggy and we took a long ride. We had supper after we came home and spent the evening talking pleasantly on the porch. Monday June 13th 1887 It was late when we got up and did not start home. A heavy rain just before noon prevented our coming in the afternoon. We all took a sleep in the afternoon and talked on the porch till late bed-time in the evening. Tuesday June 14th 1887 We took an early start for home and the roads and weather was fine. We got home just at noon. In the afternoon Mother and I rode to town. I drove the black for the first time. We found some of the girl cousins at Hatts where we called. Wednesday June 15th 1887 I was sick in bed till late in the afternoon. I got up to see some callers. I was up at supper time again but went to bed early. Thursday June 16th 1887 I got up about nine oclock and was working about the house most of the day. Mother went to town in the afternoon.
