185 Saturday September 24th 1887 I did some baking in the morning but felt too bad to help with the dinner. I was up part of the afternoon and knit some. But went to bed early. Sunday September 25th 1887 The folks were over all day but Hattie was sick so she did not sit up much of the day. I was busy about the house all the forenoon and read some after dinner. Will and I walked over to church in the evening. Was at Hatts a few moments. Monday September 26th 1887 It was a complete rainy day. Will sold four head of cattle today for $75.00. We heard Hattie was not feeling much better today I finished what I could do on Mothers dress and began to work on an old one of mine. Tuesday September 27th 1887 It was still rainy but John came over and got Mother to spend the day. I was working on my dress all day and knit in the evening. Wednesday September 28th 1887 I sewed all forenoon and finished my dress. Will took me over town after dinner and I was at Hatts all afternoon. It was not very pleasantly spent as we were talking of family affairs. Will came for me. I had head-ache and went to bed early. Thursday September 29th 1887 We washed in the forenoon and it was so rainy we put the clothes to soak. I knit all afternoon and read some in the evening. Went to bed early. Friday September 30th 1887 I went to town with Will in the buggy early in the forenoon and stayed over to Hatties all day. I attended to some matters of business in town and got home for supper, knit all the evening. Saturday October 1st 1887 I was busy all the forenoon doing baking and cleaning up the house. I knit and talked with Will all afternoon. I knit in the evening. Mother was in town all afternoon Sunday October 2nd 1887 I read in the forenoon and talked with the folks who were all over in the afternoon. I read in the evening. It rained in the afternoon.
