Saving...
186 Monday October 3rd 1887 We all went to town to see the show parade. Mother did not come home to dinner. Will May and I went to the show in the afternoon. It was good. The evening was spent at home. Tuesday October 4th 1887 We washed in the forenoon and cleaned up the house. Mother was in the country with John to buy a cow. I worked on Mays dress and knit in the evening. Mother came home at supper time. Wednesday October 5th 1887 It was a cold gloomy day. I worked all day on Mays dress. Thursday October 6th 1887 I sewed a little today. Grand-ma came to stay all night I was over town with May late in the afternoon to get her a hat and buttons for her dress. I knit in the evening. Friday October 7th 1887 Mother and Grand-ma went over to Hatties to spend the day I helped Lizzie get the dinner and went directly over to get Fanny to trim Mays hat. I came home before supper. I knit all the evening. Saturday October 8th 1887 I finished Mays sacque in the forenoon. It rained all day Will and I worked on our books all the afternoon and I knit a little in the evening. Sunday October 9th 1887 Mother went to church in the morning and I worked on my books again and when Ott & Fanny were over in the afternoon I showed my report to Ott and him and Mother and I talked over the propsect of making a change in the spring. I walked home with them to see how Hattie was but did not stay long. I read and wrote in the evening. Monday October 10th 1887 I went to town early this morning while Lizzie and Mother began the washing. I helped with it when I came back and after dinner was out in the lot where Will was fixing fence he was husking corn in the forenoon. I sewed a little in the afternoon. Mother was gone to town. I rolled up the clothes before supper and knit in the evening. We got a picture of Charlies baby today.
