Saving...
191 Friday November 11th 1887 Mrs Brenner went over before dinner and Mother soon after. I worked nearly all day to fix my cloak. Uncle Jim Stevens was here all night. I worked on my edging in the evening. Saturday November 12th 1887 Soon as we could get started this morning Will and I went to town where I waited at Hatties for him to get shaved and we started for Jeffs. We got hungry when we reached Aunt Ems and went up to get some-thing to eat. She was gone so I got dinner for the boys and we went on, got there about three oclock, spent the evening pleasantly and the trip was delightful. Sunday November 13th 1887 It looked lke rain so we started home about ten oclock but it soon broke away and when we reached Aunt Lindas it was bright. Ed asked us to stop and get some dinner so we did and had a very pleasant visit. We got home about five oclock to find supper ready. Ott & Fan came in a short time they had been to the west farm with the colt. They stayed till after supper. I wrote a little in the evening and went to bed early. Monday November 14th 1887 We got a large washing done by eleven oclock. I went to town in the afternoon to order groceries and get meat. I was at Hatties a few moments and they were all gone. I did some mending in the evening. Weather very pleasant. Tuesday November 15th 1887 I helped with the work all the forenoon. Mother went to town I went over in the afternoon and the ladies of the family were all invited to go to Trowbridge for coffee. We had a pleasant visit. Mother stayed over to go to the horse show. I was not feeling well so came on home to go to bed early. Weather very nice. Wednesday November 16th 1887 I was busy about the work all the forenoon. Lib Stevens came home with Mother to stay all night, and Charlie came on the train from the east. Mother went home with him to stay the rest of the week. Will and I drove over in the afternoon and after they started I got some things to bring home. I put in the evening writing and figuring. Will went to town.
