I put the clothes away in the evening and knit some. Saturday January 28th 1888 It was a splendid day. We hurried to get our work done up and the girls with Mrs Stillman came to spend the day. The men folks all came to dinner. The children had a good time and we all enjoyed the day. I knit in the evening and finished Wills mittens.
