207 Friday March 2nd 1888 I finished the ironing before time to get dinner and in the afternoon I sewed a little. Weather cold and windy after last nights rain. Will and I will remember this day for some time. Saturday March 3rd 1888 I was very much hurried with my work all the forenoon Mollie Stevens came just before I had dinner ready. The girls came soon after dinner and stayed till about five oclock. We spent the greater part of the time they were here talking on a subject that greatly grieves us After they went home May and I cleaned up the kitchen and dining room nice for sunday. I knit in the evening. Sunday March 4th 1888 I was all the forenoon getting the dinner and just as I finished doing up the work John & Ott came and we talked with them all the afternoon. I did not feel well and went to bed early. Weather cold and wintry. Monday March 5th 1888 It was a cold day so did not wash. I got up in a better state of mind than for the past three days.
