Saving...
208 Thursday March 8th 1888 We ironed all the things in the garret this forenoon and we had only just got through our dinner when the girls came over and had Robbie with them. I worked on the napkins all afternoon and evening. Weather chilly & cold. Friday March 9th 1888 Weather threatening and gloomy. Willie is quite well again and Will who had sick head-ache last night feels better today. We finished the ironing before noon. Father and Mother went to town to stay all night Us girls got supper over and I worked on the napkins in the evening, raining in the evening Saturday March 10th 1888 I was very busy about the house work all forenoon. Mother came home before dinner but Father did not get here till nearly night, It was a stormy day, snowing and blowing a regular blizzard. I sewed in my room all evening. Will at home. Sunday March 11th 1888 I was busy about the work all the forenoon and in the afternoon read a little. The folks were over for a little while. Will and I spent the evening looking over some old diaries of mine. Monday March 12th 1888 I gave the house a good cleaning up this morning and then went to town and back before dinner. I sewed a little in the afternoon and knit in the evening. The red cow has a calf. Tuesday March 12th 1888 We washed in the forenoon and in the afternoon. I made a couple of aprons for May. In the evening Mother, Will and I went to her "[Jounashenk?]." I did not enjoy her acting as well as before. But that was the fault of the play. Wednesday March 14th 1888 I hurried and got my work done and cut out Mays dress and worked on it till nearly noon when I dressed to go to town as soon as I ate my dinner. I called to see Aunty and went on down to Hatts awhile. I stopped to get some things to bring home. I helped get the supper over and sewed a little on Mays dress in the evening.
