Saturday, April 21st, 1888 We ironed and did baking in the forenoon. Hatt and Fanny went to town in the afternoon. Hattie went out to Dentons to stay all all night as Anna has a girl baby. Mother and I worked some in the yard in the afternoon and I did the mending and put the clothes away. Mr Chrisman called with his sister who is visiting him in the morning. Will hitched the black team to the buggy in the afternoon and went to town. He took me a short ride when he came home. I felt badly and went to bed early. Sunday April 22nd 1888 I was busy about the work all the forenoon and as soon as we ate our dinner Will and I rode down the valley in the new buggy We stopped at Stevens and it turned so much cooler that it was unpleasant riding home, got here just as supper was ready. Hatt come home this evening. We went to bed early. Monday April 23rd 1888 We did a large washing this morning and in the afternoon us girls all started to town. Mr. Denton come for Hatt and she went back out there. Fanny and I went to town. I walked home but she waited to ride with Ott. I went to bed early. Tuesday April 24th 1888 I helped Anna and we got the ironing done before noon I washed all afternoon helping Mother and Anna with the soap and they got it all boiled. Fanny was home all day and Hattie came home from Dentons before supper. Wednesday April 25th 1888 Ott and Fanny went to the valley this morning I gave the upper story a good cleaning up and made one chicken coop before dinner. Mother and Hatt went to town in the afternoon and I was working with the chickens. I was tired and went to bed early. Thursday April 26th 1888 I walked to town this morning and got a new table cloth and orderedg groceries. after I come home I did some baking The weather was much warmer. I sewed a little in the afternoon and was fixing a coop to take some little chickens my feet are hurting me so I can hardly work. Mother and Hatt were home all day. Ott and Fanny come tonight.
