Saturday May 19th 1888 Mother and I were busy about the house work all forenoon and I worked on my waist some in the afternoon and evening The girls were over town just before supper. Weather most pleasant. Sunday May 20th 1888 We hurried to get the work done up this evening and Will and I went down to Stevens where we spent a pleasant day were home in time for supper. Mother and I were over to Folsoms after supper. The folks went to church. I went to bed early. Monday May 21st 1888 I was in town all the forenoon and worked some on my bead waist in the afternoon. Miss White was over to see the girls. Tuesday May 22nd 1888 we did a large washing in the forenoon and Anna and I ironed part of the things in the afternoon I worked some on my bead waist what spare time I had. The girls are working on Hatties comforts and Will is working out at the Songster field. Weather growing warmer. Wednesday May 23rd 1888 We finished ironing in the forenoon and in the afternoon I cut out a gingham dress to make for May. I was out looking after my chickens some too. Thursday May 24th 1888 I was trying to sew on Mays dress all I could today. Anna was doing some extra washing and Mother got most of the dinner. Lee went away for a week today and Charlie happened to be home for dinner. Friday May 25th 1888 I was sewing what time I could in the forenoon and soon after dinner went to town. I got a new dress for May and was to see the Awtrys awhile I came on home and looked after my chickens. The girls were over town and Hatt come home sick. Saturday May 26th 1888 I helped do up the morning work and rode to the pasture with Will. I was sewing on Mays dress all afternoon and worked on my waist in the evening. Aunt Lydia and Mattie come today and went to the valley. It rained hard in the evvening.
