Monday June 11th 1888 It was very pleasant today. We all went over to Uncle Jins to have a party in honor of Grandmas 87th birth day. The relatives were all there and seemed to enjoy being together. I left Anna sick and as soon as I got back she went home. It took us all to do up the evening work. I was very tired and went to bed early. Tuesday June 12th 1888 I had May wash some this forenoon and Mother and I were busy with dinner. It looked very much like rain but cleared away before noon. The folks did not go home but part of them went out to the races Mother and I ironed before supper. Spent the evening at home. Wednesday June 13th 1888 I had Mary wash out a lot of calico things this morning and May and I ironed them late in the afternoon. Cherlie folks started home this afternoon. Mother and Hatt went to the depot with them. The girls were all over in the forenoon weather growing quite warm. Thursday June 14th 1888 I had Mary help and we did another washing this forenoon. I sewed a little in the afternoon. Ott and Fanny went to the races. I was tired and went to be early. Friday June 15ht 1888 Mother and I finished ironing by ten oclock and then I drove over town with old Cherlie to get some things. I was home by elvon. I worked on my bead waist in the afternoon. The girls went over to see the dress parade as the Commencement of the University begins today. weather very warm. Saturday June 16th 1888 I helped Mother do up the work before starting for a picnic at the boat house. The girls went too. We spent a very pleasant day though the weather was entirely hot. I helped do up the work after coming home. Mr Brown went home today. Sunday June 17th 1888 I was busy at house-work all forenoon an entirely hot day. I slept awile in the afternoon. Will was in town.
