Saving...
Sunday June 24th 1888 I was busy all the forenoon helping with the work Mother and Father took a ride after dinner. Will and I went up to look at a farm up past Coralville. We talked with Ott about it when we come back. We were all over in town after supper. Ott and Fan rode and the rest of us walked. Was very tired and went to bed early. Monday June 25th 1888 We had a very large washing this morning. It took all the forenoon to do that and get the dinner. Hatt was at work over to the house all day. I ironed some in the afternoon. Tuesday June 26th 1888 Ott stored to Dakota today for a trip and Fanny went home for a visit. I finished the ironing in the forenoon and sewed a little after dinner. Hattie was working over to the house all day. Mother and Father [the following is written in the right margin of this entry] to the valley Wednesday June 27th 1888 I took a ride with Father this morning to look at the farm. After supper Will and I rode over town. Friday June 29th 1888 We did quite a large washing this morning. Father and Mother were out to Dentons awhile in the afternoon. I was busy sewing. weather growing warm again. Saturday June 30th 1888 We ironed this morning and cleaned the house all up besides doing baking. Mother prepared some goose berries to can in the afternoon before going to town. I was sewing most of the afternoon doing mending. Father and Mother were in town awhile and Will and I went after supper. Hattie has the furniture nearly all in her house and it looks splendid.
