Sunday September 9th 1888 I was busy about the work all forenoon. Will went and got the new girl and she helped with the work after that. I read in the afternoon and in the evening fixed up Wills things. Ott was over awhile. Mother stayed in town all night. Monday September 10th 1888 I got up early to see Will of but went back for a little more sleep. We did a big days work moving things about and getting ready for the brorders. One of them came this eve. Tuesday September 11th 1888 It was rainy in the morning so I did some sewing. I went to town in the afternoon to finish doing my shopping Hatt was over awhile. George & Sue got their [illegible] away tonight. They are going to start from Hatts tomorrow. Wednesday September 12th 1888 We did the washing this morning and mother went to town Adda and I ironed some in the afternoon and I packed up mine and Mays things. I dressed before supper and after supper we went over to Hatties to stay all night. weather fine. Thursday September 13rd 1888 We got up early and the hack came and took us to the depot the train was late so I had to send her back home again. I made the changes all right. I was up town in Peoria in the afternoon. Will met me at the depot in Delaware at eight oclock and took Sue down to Duncons. I was very tired and we only talked a little time before going to bed. Will went down to the fair ground early and I went down later with Mr. Duncan and Lizzie . I spent a very pleasant day meeting old friends. We ate dinner with Mary and family and I was with Wills sisters all afternoon. About five oclock I went up to Venes for an hour and I came back to Rohrs for supper and spent the evening there. We went back to Duncans to stay all night. The weather was very pleasant. Saturday September 15th 1888 Will Woolf came for us this morning and as it had rained a little last night we had a splendid ride out to
