Saving...
Wednesday October 4th 1888 I was all the forenoon cleaning the lower story and doing some baking. Mother was in town most of the day. I wrote some in the afternoon and helped gather green tomatoes. Adda went to her Aunts for a three day visit. Thursday October 4th 1888 Will helped me this morning to do a large washing and I helped Mother do up the dinner dishes before going to town with Will to see the crowd of old soldiers at the reunion. We drove up to the cemetery and staid awhile. The children were over for the day and Ott and the girls come after them before night. Friday October 5th 1888 I ironed this forenoon and in the afternoon worked up in the garret putting some things away. Mother was over to Clutes and Folsoms to call. I knit all the evening. It was a gloomy day threatening rain. Will to town in evening. Saturday October 6th 1888 Mother and I cleaned up stairs this morning and she went to town and in the afternoon I was over to Hatts to visit with the Robinson girls. Will took me over and brought me back. Sunday October 7th 1888 We hurried to get the work done and Mother went to church I got the dinner, by the time she come home. Ott & Fran were with her. Will and I started right down to the valley We called at both Stevens and Aunt Ems and got home by five oclock. Mother and I got supper over. Adda did not come. Monday October 8th 1888 Adda come last night and we done lots of work today with washing and ironing both besides cleaning porches and getting the meals. Mother was in town in the afternoon.
