Saving...
Wednesday December 12, 1888 I did up the work up stairs this morning as it was nearly noon before Mother got home. I finished my shirt and worked all the afternoon on my new dress. Will went to the valley for wood. Weather still pleasant. Thursday December 13, 1888 It was a pleasant morning and Mother went with Will as far as Uncle Jims. I was busy with the wash most of the forenoon. And sewed on my dress in the afternoon. Mr. Callins was over and worked the whole afternoon tuning the piano. Will went to town in the evening and I played on the piano. Mother came home about the middle of the afternoon. Friday December 14, 1888 It was a windy bad day. Mother came from town this morning as she stayed all night at Hatties as they had a party there last night for the boys. I worked on my dress all the spare time I had from the work. Saturday December 15, 1888 Mother went to town this forenoon and I was busy about the work nearly all the forenoon and sewed on my dress in the afternoon. Mother came home soon after dinner. Will did not go to the valley today. It rained a little in the afternoon and quite hard in the evening. I knit a little in the evening and played on the piano. Sunday December 16, 1888 It wasent a very pleasant day but the folks were all over and we had tirkey for dinner. Lee took mother to the valley in the afternoon. I wrote a couple of letters in the evening. I do not feel at all well today. Monday December 17th 1888 It was more pleasant today and Adda done the washing I helped considerable with the work and sewed a little on my dress in the afternoon. I knit in the evening. Tuesday December 18, 1888 I helped Adda about the ironing beside doing other work I had a little time in the afternoon to finish working the button holes in my dress. I knit in the evening.
