Saving...
Thursday January 16th 1890 We were busy with the work all the forenoon and in the afternoon we washed. Mr Pierce got a dispatch to go home his Father was very sick. I knit in the evening. Friday January 17th 1890 We were busy about the work all the forenoon and soon after dinner Will took Mother and I over town to spend the afternoon with Hattie. Edith came home with us to stay the night. I knit for Will all my spare time. Saturday Januatry 18th 1890 I worked nearly all day sweeping and cleaning the house and doing other work. Mother went to town in the afternoon to take Edith home. Will and I drove over to spend the evening with Ott & Fanny. we enjoyed it very much. Sunday January 19th 1890 I hurried through with my work and Will and I went to the valley. We took dinner at Stevens and found Blanche Emmons and her husband there. We were at Aunt Ems awhile where we had a nice little visit. It was a chill ride home in a sleet storm. I read in the evening and went to bed early. Monday January 20th 1890 It was very cold this morning. I put in the forenoon cleaning up the house. Mother ironed a few things. We washed in the afternoon. I did some mending in the evening. Tuesday January 21st 1890 It was a miserably cold windy day. It kept us busy most of the day doing the work. I knit what spare time I had. Will said Ott had been sick all day when he come from town in the evening. Wednesday January 22nd 1890 It was a cold day and Will went out to the sale at Peters as Ott was not able to go. Mother went to town to day all night. I was busy with the work most of the day. The sale yielded a good sum of money so we can get all the money Peter is owing us. Will went over to see Ott after he came home
