January, Thursday, 2, 1862. Rather Cold Day I have felt very unwell Indeed I wrote a letter to [Mrs?] McCall also one to J.W Neal Whitch I Send By Mr Weaver, there is to be a Temperance lecture in town this Evening but I think I will not go, I feel too unwell to go any Place and think I will retire Early.
