Saving...
January, SATURDAY, 11, 1862. We left Mr. Shermans this morning at 7 1/2 o'clock but it was so cold we had to stop every few miles to warm After a very cold and very fatiguing Journey we arrived at home at 2 o'clock almost frozen. After warming and partaking of some refreshments I was handed a letter from my sister whitch had come to the P.O. in my absence. I read the contents which were very interesting as they were all well.
