January TUESDAY, 14, 1862. The weather still continues cold and no prospect of it getting any warmer yet this evening. Iff all hands are agreed I Intend to go out Calling and see what I can do. it snows so hard I have concluded not to go. Unkle George is going out to night- I think He will soon Bring the matter to a close Unkle Dan and I are occupying our time writing letters I Intend to write to my sister, it is snowing and storming very hard this evening and I think the weather will be warmer now, but it is time I was beginning my letter and I shall quit this
