January, THURSDAY, 16, 1862. This is a nice morning Unkle was married Last Evening at six o'clock to Miss Sarah Fulton. They kept the matter a profoun secret until within a day there were several present on the Occasion and we had a very good time-- Considering Refreshment of all kinds and of the best quality and Unkle Promised us something more at Home Tomorrow night He and she appeard to be so happy that it almost put me in the notion But I will not have Mr. Doig to marry me for I do not like his fashion so well as some I have seen. I should like to go Calling tomorrow night iff I could but I suppose I will have to put it off
