Saving...
March, SUNDAY, 2 1862. This is a very stormy day snowing and blowing at a great rate, I have been at Church to day Mr. Shearer Preached He took for the Foundation of His remarks part of the sixth verse of the fourth Ch of Nehemiah Whitch reads thus For the People had a mind to work, I think his sermon was just the thing His Congregation needed they need something to stir them up I am not very well to day but I believe I will go up and see iff the mail has come in yet, We have had no mail since Friday last on account of the snow being Drifted so badly, I feel so bad I believe I will not go to Church this evening Unkle George thinks he will stay at Home too
