March, WEDNESDAY, 19, 1862. This is one of the most Gloomy morning we have seen for Two years it is raining all the time and very muddy Unkle George has not been at the store to day and I dont think He need come for there is nothing doing at all, I would give considerable to know where I shall go in the spring I have had the blues all day very bad, the mail has just arrived and Mr Cleaves has gone over to the office I hope he may bring me a letter George and Dan has not been at the store to day It still continues to rain the mud will be knee deep Iff It don't quit soon
