Saving...
April, WEDNESDAY, 2, 1862. It was raining this morning very hard and did rain until noon when a violent wind storm sprang up and it is drying the roads up very fast I think it is going to turn cold after a while, I was out calling last night and had a very good time we have a little one Horse meeting to night at the Presbyterian Church for the purpose of electing Sunday School officers, I expect I will have to attend the mail Brought me no letters this evening and no war news of any Importence [a?] I know of now I must go home to supper.
