April, MONDAY, 7, 1862. This is a very Gloomy morning it looks as though spring would never come but I suppose we will have wait, I would not give 50 cts for the profits to day, oh but it is hard for me to stay in the store to day I have nothing to read or the day would pass off much better, I have just returned from my dinner Unkle George has not left the House to day because it was so stormy. now it is evening and I am going home to super there was no war news of Importance to day we got no letters as usual I had thought of going out Calling to night but it is so wet I think I will stay at Home.
