April, TUESDAY, 8, 1862. Oh it is so Gloomy and sad to stay here all day by ones self and these dark dull days there is no pleasure out doors either and it is so muddy that one cannot Leave town at all some people are predicting no nice weather until after Easter, I believe I will die with the blues before that time, I was out calling last night to drive away dull care but this will not answer for every evening. the mail arrived a few moments ago. Unkle George is gone to the office I wish he would hurry over with it and then I suppose we will go home and spend another Lonely evening
