Saving...
May, Wednesday, 14, 1862. It looks very mutch like rain this morning and we kneed it. Unkles George & Dan came home last evening with a few little [minnies?] They thought they had done wonders. Unkle George caught the sore back and was not able to come down to Breakfast this morning, and has not been at the store to day. The mail bought no new of any consequence today. At 2 o.clock this after noon I started out to Bensons to let them know their plow had came. It was about nine miles I enjoyed the ride very mutch although I was riding the roughest horse.
